MA and Ph.D. students and archaeologists working on a dissertation, who present a paper at the EAA conference in Helsinki, are welcome to apply for the Student Award. Please submit your paper to the Award Selection Committee before 10 August 2012 (please email a brief  covering letter, CV, and the text of the conference paper, following the format for contributions to the EJA, to the EAA Administrator Sylvie Kvetinová: kvetinova@arup.cas.cz) for consideration by the selection committee.

The committee consists of representatives of the EAA Executive Board and the papers will be evaluated for their academic merit and innovative ideas.

The Award consists of a diploma, books from Archaeolingua and a 100,- euro voucher for purchase of books from Cambridge University Press. The winner of the award will be announced at the Annual Business Meeting on 31 August 2012. The winning paper will be considered for publication in the European Journal of Archaeology (EJA).
