The State University of New York at Buffalo has founded an interdisciplinary Institute for European and Mediterranean Archaeology. Among their ambitions is to “establish and maintain the University at Buffalo as a leading national and international center for research and teaching in the archaeology of the European and Mediterranean areas“. Staff includes Sarunas Milisauskas, Stephen Dyson, Tina Thurston, Peter Biehl, and Ezra Zubrow (see image), among others.
